Arrived in Australia in 1950 aboard the Chitral. Getting a bit fed up at home. Saw a advert saying that you could go to the south of England for 10 pounds. Then met Lorraine (a friend of Auntie Rowena's) from Australia, and decided to come out for the same price.

Scattered her ashes at Earlwood Bowling Club on 24th September 2008.
