Harry Foxcroft

Harry Foxcroft (on the right) enlisted in World War I. He was captured at Gallipoli, and if he wasn't our family would have been erased from history on the Western Front. He wrote a statement about his capture and imprisonment.

James Shaw Higgitt

James Shaw Higgitt enlist and served in the Royal Garrison Artillery in World War I. He served in Mesopotamia. He wrote a history of his time in the war. After the war, he served in the police force and wrote a history of that as well
